It took a long time for Mike Lupica to acknowledge the greatness of Mariano Rivera. So while Lupica comes up with a pun and explains the greatness of Mariano Rivera to New York area baseball fans by comparing Rivera to Babe Ruth, I'd like to remind everyone that it wasn't too long ago that Lupica was comparing Rivera
unfavorably to Jonathan Papelbon.
