I think Burnett is running out of excuses. It was Posada's catching last year and Eiland's brief absence this year. Funny to imagine burnett entered the season as the nominal #2 starter on this staff.
He's an overrated pitcher who only once has won more than 13 in a year. I'm happy he helped us out so much last season (we needed him to show up to WS Game 2 and he did), but I'm counting down until his contract expires.
