.175 batting average. - Devalued statistic. Nobody cares anymore. .175 is the new .275
7 runs batted in. - Function of performance of players ahead in batting order. No longer relevant statistic. Nobody cares anymore
.115 with RISP. - Again, batting average is irrelevant.
.111 with two outs and RISP. - How many times do I have to say batting average doesn't matter
-0.9 WAR. - This one is a little troubling.

What's his average launch angle? What about hard hit ball percentage? Exit velo? OPS+? Give me some stats that matter.

Yes, I am being sarcastic.

He had a few clutch hits shortly after my post. A walkoff HR and four or five total RBIs in two games Even a hit with RISP. Of course, this afternoon he struck out looking with runners and second and third and one out. As John Sterling pointed out, this was against a lefty throwing 80 MPH.
