Why are you so obsessed with Torre? He's gone. Let it go. You're more obsessed with him than the sportswriters you rip on all the time.
I am not obsessed at all. I laughed out loud when I saw Torre in a Dodgers uniform talking about the 1950s and Derek Lowe (probably the one Dodger player he could name) and (my personal favorite) when he said that he and ARod were comfortable with each other this year ... and he didn't know why because he hadn't done anything different!

He may be a great manager, I don't know. But he's an icon only in NY. Why on Earth would the Dodgers pursue Mattingly 2010?
